Natural selection shape sexual selection. Women who have natural sexual attractions to wealthy men had more surviving offsprings than those who favor looks over money in preindustrial hard life.

However, such coevolution can only achieve in civilized society where personal wealth is protected by law not muscle.

In tribal society, muscle matters more than personal wealth which need to be protected by pure physical strength and aggression.
